How will viewings be conducted here in Wales after the lockdown
We have been looking into the Government Guidelines and putting our systems into place early to make sure we can keep you all as safe as possible once restrictions here in Wales are eased. You can find out what to expect below ...
The government advice is to "encourage our clients to do their property searching online wherever possible. Initial viewings should be done virtually wherever this is possible and physical viewings should only be conducted where buyers are seriously considering making an offer on a property."
To support this, we will do our best to conduct virtual property walk throughs where we can. In order to help reduce the number of properties you need to visit before finding your future home.
Viewings will be conducted by appointment only and no open house viewings will take place. Buyers must be in a position to proceed and have their mortgages/funding in place.
Viewers and vendors will be asked to confirm that they are not showing any Covid-19 symptoms(no matter how mild) and whether they are self isolating. We have prepared an online form that will be sent out to clients on the morning of each viewing prior to any viewing going ahead. Viewings/valuations will only proceed once the form has been received from all parties.
Viewings will be limited to a maximum of two viewers and they must be from the same household.
When viewing a property all parties will need to sanitise their hands and avoid touching surfaces where possible.
If your home is being viewed, vendors will be asked to open all internal doors and turn on all lights prior to the viewing. Social distancing measures will need to be adhered to wherever possible and we will provide masks, gloves and hand sanitiser on all appointments.
We will encourage our vendors to vacate their home whilst viewings are taking place in order to minimise contact with those not in each others household.
Once the viewing has taken place, we ask that our vendors ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned with standard household cleaning products.
My staff and clients health are of the upmost importance to me, and we will make sure we will do all we can to make sure we conduct our services safely and responsibly.
